Wind in Ears

The premise

At forty miles an hour, a dog becomes a flag—
all instinct, weather, and impossible optimism.

Photographed through glass, across lanes, and in the few seconds before the light changed.

Against the
seriousness
of arrival.

Wind in Ears is a growing record of dogs encountered in transit: leaning into slipstreams, waiting at lights, briefly sharing a direction with the photographer.

The pictures are about joy, obviously. But they are also about trust. The dog does not know the destination. The dog knows only that the window is open.
